I’ve got 5 ordered last month. Today 2 of them has been corrected with unknown reasons but I think it’s about customer return product or use fraud credit card purchased. I lost $200. Why web hosting industry have a high reversal rate?

mrmonster said: Maybe someone signed up, and canceled before the next month came.

They can’t payout $100 if the customer is not intending to stay.

Sxperm said:

Yeah, I have no doubt about it. My question is about high reversal rate, not about didn’t get paid.

Johu said: The web hosting industry has a very high rate of fraud in general. When I used to own a web host, up to 25% of all orders that came through were fraudulent (we manually confirmed all orders that looked suspicious, which can take a lot of time and effort). Most hosts just process the transaction with automated fraud checks, that often aren’t the best.
BeSmile said: offer free 1 month trial, monthly payment and 30 day money back guarantee that is the cause.
Sxperm said:

That’s a good point I’ve to avoid pushing too much on a hosting which is promoted as "free one month trial"

InfoSmith said: some people like to try 1 month and move to another hosting for another 1 month

Did anyone recieve pay check for period ending 16 March 2007?
I have not for any of my account so far!
macoracle said: Yep got em
Miles Baker said: Yes, I got mine.
happywinner said: And I’ts gonna be my first when it arrives
Could be I live in Sweden…….
basnl said: Well I can’t say anything about the paychecks as I’m on wiretransfer, but I think checks shouldn’t take more than 2-3 weeks to arrive…

The check from pay-period ending March 16 was probably sent out by CB somewhere around March 24, which is already more than 5 weeks ago…
Maybe wait just another week, but I’d contact CB if it still hasn’t arrived by then..

This was copied from another forum but thought it would be useful info here. It applies primarily to Clickbank vendors who promote e-marketing/e-business products:

We wanted to share some of the most important guidelines to keep in mind when creating your Pitch Page, upsells and other sales material. To ensure that ClickBank vendors stay in good standing with the FTC, we will apply these guidelines when approving new products and working with existing vendors.

· Most importantly, please do not significantly alter your Pitch Page after approval. We recognize that some changes are necessary for testing, but if you need to make significant changes to your page (such as earnings claims or images, sales messaging or video content), please notify your Account Manager so we can ensure the new page is also in compliance.

· For Internet Marketing products: Per the new FTC information, sales material shouldn’t create the impression that customers can easily earn money without putting in much work, and should give specific ideas of how they’ll earn the money (e.g., content marketing, video marketing, social media, etc). Sales pages should also not overstate how much can realistically be made, or imply that earnings are guaranteed.

· The FTC also strongly discourages false urgency/scarcity messaging (for example, “Only 3 copies left!”) when there is no actual scarcity. Closing the doors to new customers after a specified amount of time and reopening later is fine.

· Any Pitch Page references to ClickBank sales stats need to be verifiable by ClickBank, and need to have been earned by the methods being promoted. For example, selling an affiliate training product using sales snapshots from a vendor-only account is not allowed.

· For vendors using video Pitch Pages, if a Buy Now button appears during the course of the video, the price must appear as well. We also request that vendors provide transcripts of video sales letters when submitting a product for approval.

· For upsells, the initial product purchased must be valuable and usable on its own, without requiring the purchase of the upsell offers. Customers must also be able to immediately access their original purchase upon completion of their order, before being presented with upsell offers. An access link may be placed on the first upsell offer page, but the link must be very clear and conspicuous (i.e., not hidden or in a small font). We highly recommend that vendors use ClickBank’s official upsell flows to present upsell offers to customers.

· Please submit product approval requests at least several days before your launch, so that ClickBank has time to thoroughly review the offer and request changes if necessary. This is especially the case for products with video sales letters, since making changes to these can take time. We may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests.

· To prevent customer complaints, vendors should not close refund request tickets or switch tickets from Refund to Tech Support more than once, and the latter should only be used when actually trying to help the customer and save the sale.

Yesterday, when I was performed my search and I noticed that no one is selling ebook anymore, just wonder are we allow to sell ebook in ebay? Any idea? Please help. Thanks

stevehien said: If you know anywhere can sell eboooks, tell me more. Thanks
grakus said: according to ebay policy, ebooks are no longer allowed to be sold on ebay. but there is a legitimate way to sell your ebook on ebay. Transfer your ebook to cd and you can list them on ebay without any restrictions.
rm78 said: sell ebook on ebay no longer permit again, i ever try but eaby remove my listing.
anakrantau said:

yes, I still see many eBook listing on eBay, but they are all use CD’s as a medium to sell them.
when you sell the eBook using CD, you will have those postage tracking no and you can use them to get "seller protection program". Its important to have those protection program if you are serious in eBay business.

Total Solution said: Hi,

As stated by others, you can sell ebooks on eBay, but ONLY if you provide them on CDs. NO digital downloads are allowed at all.

I have a few good ones for sale at my eBay "BabyGrowsnSnuggleToes" Baby Shop.

All the Best!

Cliff Hanger said: Another way is finding a cheap but professional service (there’s many online) and printing the ebook. Selling a physical printed book could also fetch a lot more higher bids.
php0606 said: I got a lot of plr/mrr ebooks but don’t know where to sell them…any idea?
EsotericTrader said: Why don’t you throw up a squeeze page? your own site would be the most profitable place if your eBooks are of quality.

After jensense has received 25+ angry comments on her topic "Chitika publishers see drastically reduced earnings in audited reports".
Are you still going with Chitika ??

100% aggreed…. everyone here is giving there on openions based on there good or bad experiance…. all reaults are not same for everyone…. try once… meybe you can get better results…

Jafar Calley said: There has been a lot of negative feeling of late. My feeling is that you can get angry and give up, or shrug it off and roll with the changes and profit from it.
Chitika is unique and unless something comes along and establishes itself as a firm alternative, there is no point in giving up on it.
I’ve seen results already from the new alternative ads. More than enough to subsidise even a 50% audit reduction for November. I don’t expect more than 5-10% audit reduction for December’s earnings as none of the "invalid" countries will see the Chitika ads.
Chin up people!

I think alot of people are all bluster, but most are not bolting. The numbers don’t lie. The fact is that Chitika does pay. And some cash is better than no cash, right?

Hey

I don’t fully understand why Clickbank changed to the encrypted links?

If someone was to see a link, the only people who know about them are people who use clickbank so they can easily change the affilate id over too their id.

Is it to do with spyware that can change the ID of the affiliate link and so the encrypted link protects from this happening?

Because at the moment we have gone from a fairly ok looking link to a big mess of letters and I don’t fully understand why?

cb link: fhrkufhkufu5hteth5uk4gt54ut3g5t34utg5tutg4.hop etc

Anyone know why?

sajidmm said: when click bank change it? i never notice it. i just check click bank. links are not Encrypted for me.
tanakanewyork said: clickbank doesnt change it, only the affiliates use some tool to hide their cbid.
gary101 said: Go to the marketplace and just set up a new link for any product the link will now be encrypted.

lyndatreb said: Gary101: I’ve wondered the same thing myself. Hope someone can answer your question. As you said, anyone who is familiar with Clickbank knows how to decode it. I would really like to understand what the benefit would be so I can decide if I want to spend the time going in and changing all of my hoplinks to the new hopshield.
janecompersnews said: For your information

jayw1988 said: Yes they have changed there links to encrypted, they also have a tool you can use to unencrypt them.
gary101 said:

adds an extra layer of privacy and anonymity to HopLinks, keeping affiliates’ promotional efforts and techniques hidden from others??

How does it, if you can easily decrypt them or go to the purchase page and see the affiliates name at the bottom of the screen??

Why didn’t they offer something where I can choose what the link says and the ID and vendor names are hidden in that, this would have been much more helpful.
